Jason Berenberg

Whatever your situation, my goal is to help you find clarity and strength to provide you with the resiliency to successfully face your unique set of challenges. As your psychotherapist, I will help you remove barriers so you can be free from the grip of your struggles (anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, low self-esteem, or something else) and reach your fullest potential.

I am committed to not only alleviating your symptoms and emotional pain, but to being an integral part of your journey to long-standing change and providing you with an inviting and safe environment to do so with compassion, encouragement, and humor. I work primarily with teenagers, young adults and adults through individual and family therapy.

My Therapy Approach

Helping others create change in their lives is something I am very passionate about. I believe we all have an innate propensity for healing and personal growth, but recognize that every person’s situation is unique. That’s why I take an eclectic approach to therapy. Your sessions may incorporate a mix of cognitive behavior, dialectical behavior, existential, relational, and solution-focused elements based on your individual needs and progression.

I view therapy as a collaboration where we explore your strengths and limitations, along with the therapeutic modalities that best suit your current concerns. Throughout my career, I have helped adults and teens deal with an array of issues from depression and anxiety, to grief and trauma, to life transitions and relationship difficulties, to co-occurring emotional and alcohol/substance use issues. I consider it a great privilege to work with you towards your personal goals.
